Masterclass 2017

The Úterý Organ Masterclass 2017 took place on July 29 - August 2, 2017 and was led by Wolfgang Zerer (HfMT Hamburg) as lecturer. This year was focused on the topic

Italian Influences on South-German and North-German Baroque Music.

The masterclass included a concert of Wolfgang Zerer on July 29 and a traditional closing concert of the participants on August 2, 2017 in the church of St John the Baptist in Úterý.

The Úterý Organ Masterclass is jointly organised by Úterský spolek Bart and the Czech Organ Festival. In 2017, it was supported by the Regional Authority of the Pilsen Region, the Czech-German Fund for the Future and the municipality of Úterý. It took place under the auspices of the Deputy Governor of the Pilsen Region for culture and heritage preservation, Mr Martin Baxa.
