Tobias Lindner

Tobias Lindner (b. 1975) studied organ play with Wolfgang Riegraf and Roland Götze.

As a part of his study of church music, he studied organ with Karl Friedrich Wagner and Klemens Schnorr. He obtained his diploma at Schola Cantorum in Basel. In the following years, he studied organ play with Andrea Marcon and figured bass with Gottfried Bach.

He won prizes at various international organ competitions (Innsbruck, Brügge, Nürnberg, Landau).

He regularly performs as cembalist and organist with the Venice Baroque Orchestra led by Andrea Marcon.

Tobias Lindner is an organist in the St Francis church in Riehen and teaches cembalo and figured bass at Schola Cantorum in Basel. In addition, he is a lecturer of organ play at the Musikhochschule in Hannover, and an active organist and cembalist.
