The 2012 masterclass

In its first year, the Úterý Organ Masterclass took place from July 28 till August 3, 2012. There were 7 student participants (4 from the Czech Republic, 3 from Germany) and three teachers. As in the following year, the lecturers at the masterclass were Christoph Bossert and Jan Doležel of HfM Würzburg and the course included instruction on the organs in Úterý, Rabštejn and Kladruby. Within the course, two public concerts were given in the St John the Baptist church in Úterý: the opening concert by Ch. Bossert, J. Doležel and F. Presseisen, and the closing concert by the participants. The first year of the Úterý Organ Masterclass was supported by the Czech-German Fund for the Future and the Pilsen Region.
